I concentrate mainly on the human being; one's state of mind,
place in the world,
interaction with other people and important experiences. My
passion for capturing
these emotions and feelings of certain moments of my own and
other people's lives
lets me swap between painting, drawing, sculpting and different
printing techniques
to find a suitable way to explore and show these events which
form our lives as
good memories or even as treasured points to hold in and revalue.
Main artistic influences are Rene Magritte, Robert Rauschenberg,
Henry Moore,
David Nash and also Japanese art and design, traditional and
contemporary.
Very special thanks to Michael Siegel, Frankfurt and Michael
Defner, Igls
for all their teaching and guidance. Without these not only
gifted artists but also
excellent pedagogues I couldn't have done it at all.
